Un Symbole d'unité:
Canadienne

Pourquoi nous separer
et restreindre nos libertés?
Nous, Canadiens,
demeurons ensemble.

Ensemble, nous jouissons
des mêmes privilèges.

Nous sommes un pays,
Libre et puissant,
D'un océan a l'autre.

Séparés, nous sommes
affaiblis.
Séparés, nous nous
detruisons.

Ensemble nous sommes forts.

Vive le Canada!

Un Canada Uni

Les politiciens
vont et viennent.
Les uns bâtissent
un pays; d'autres
le détruisent et
ruinent son peuple.

Des politiciens
cachent Ia vérité;
d'autres mentent
pour gain personnel.

Les Québécois sont
nos frères et soeurs.
Nous faisons face aux
mêmes problèmes quotidiens.
Unis, nous sommes plus forts.

Quel choisirait
une séparation
qui le limiterait
â une province
fragmentée, avec
frontieres guardées,
fils de fer et
passeports différents?
Canadien, il est libre
de parcourir le pays
d'un océan a l'autre.

Nous, Canadiens, restons unis.
A Canadian Unity Symbol

Why should we
separate and restrict
our freedoms?
We, Canadians,
remain together.

Together, we enjoy
the same privileges.

We are a country,
strong and free,
from sea to sea.

Separated, we are weakened.
Separated, we
destroy ourselves.

Together we are strong.

Long live Canada

A United Canada

Politicians come and go.
Some build a country,
others destroy it,
ruin its people.

Some politicians
hide the truth;
others lie for
personal gain.

Quebec people are
our brothers and sisters.
We face common
daily problems.
United, we are stronger.

Why would anyone
choose separation
confining to a
fragmented province,
with border guards,
barbed-wire fences,
different passports?
As a Canadian, one is free
to roam from one ocean
to the other.

We, Canadians, remain united.

A message from the artist:
The reality of separation, by any province, by some politician, wanting to create his own kingdom, is the restriction of the peoples freedom, the confining of thoes peoples, to a fragmented province, with borders, with border guards, pass-ports and barbed wire. I believe that Canadians prefer, and would choose freedom, over confinement and restriction, resulting from separation.
